This intensive and practical workshop will help you understand the structure of the laws relating to holidays and leave for employees.

DBAPS (Domestic leave, Bereavement Leave, Alternative holidays and Public holidays) management:

  • Relevant Daily Pay
  • Minimum entitlements for each DBAPS


  • Understand the structure of the Holidays Act 2003

  • Have a working understanding of government guidance on the Holidays Act 2003
  • Be able to use publicly available resources to find the ‘answers’ to questions as they arise
  • Understand the need for active management of entitlements and that there is usually more than one ‘correct answer’
