Virginia webThe move to alert level 1 has been welcomed by business.  We have seen the benefit of this last weekend with the Highlanders match on Saturday in Dunedin.  The town was alive – with retailers, accommodation providers, cafés and restaurants all very busy providing services to the rugby fans.  

The covid-19 extension to the wage subsidy has opened for applications.  This is designed to support employers who are significantly impacted by covid-19 after the wage-subsidy ends.  You can read more here.

Applications for Government small business loans of up to $100,000 have been extended and are available until 24 July for eligible businesses to help with cash flow.  You can find out more here.

There is new support for commercial rent disputes.  There is Government support underway to help small businesses resolve disputes over their commercial rent agreements during covid-19.  Find out more details here.
